Don't Drink from the Athabasca

When a buglet has to go, a buglet has to go!!

We hit up Jasper again this weekend, and Bugsley LOVED it...

We hit up the Jasper Tramway (holy snot - not cool for someone afraid of heights.  Bugsley loved it...me not so much)...

P.S - Notice how all my pictures have the railing in the bottom??  That's cause I am badass and refuse to step to the edge!

My chipmunk picture....and now Nolan's...

wait for it...wait....wait....

Ta - Daaaaa!!!  A chipmunk from a 4 year old perspective!!

We moved our party from the mountain top (thank the Lord), to the streets of Jasper...

And on to the Athbasca Falls....

No trip to the mountains is complete without throwing rocks in the water,

Watermelon faces,

Skinned knees,

Self portraits.

Top it all off off bubbles on the balcony while the thunder clouds form and you get,

A weekend full of smiles and laughter.

Our delightfully, quiet little life

Wow, it's been a while since my last post...that's what happens when you have nothing worth writing about going on in your life, haha...

Nolan came to a football game with me last week, and loved it...well, actually, he loved the cheerleaders, not the game.  Well, the girls and the fireworks....and the candy apples...pretty much everything but the football game itself. Oh well, he was great, and loved it.  We'll go again for sure...

He's still loving daycare...and has even made a few little friends.  The joys of living in the area of the city that is populated by Indian (Not native, but like East Indian) people...he's friend at daycare's name is "Kleenex"...well, that's not really his name, but that's what Nolan thinks it is, hahaha...poor kid.  I can only imagine Nolan calling him Kleenex all day...mind you, I call Nolan Bugsley, so he can probably relate....

Other than that, our life is quiet and delightful!!!

Things I love...

Love finding a new play place, tucked away in a spot I would otherwise never find it (Thank goodness for random furniture shopping trips - it seems to be the time when you stumble upon great little places)

Places like these however, are almost easier to let Nolan fall asleep on the slide, or in the ball pit, rather than trying to take him home awake...perhaps upon entering, I should start to hand out war plugs with a sweet little note attached "*Disclaimer - the choice to not use the provided ear plugs may result in severe ear damage - the idle threats you may hear upon our exiting the building are 'most often' idle threats - if you stand within a 3 foot radius, you too may be univited to Nolan's birthday party*"....I think it would work...

I love Nolan's latest angry threat "YOU ARE NOT COMING TO MY BIRTHDAY"....Saaaawwweeeeet!!! No party plannin' for me!!!  Oh, to be young enough to truly believe that your birthday is the end all, be all to life....

I love stumbling across a great new treat at a time where I am pretty sure, I would drink the lemon scented cleaner - it just smells so lemony...(I just so happen to be on a teensy bit of a lemon kick)...

And last but not least, this I love the most....

This is a face that only a momma can love...

(and yes, he is on the toilet, cause I'm a good momma like that...)

Happy Thursday!!
